In November, our technical experts visited World’s Leading Trade for Electronics Development and Production – Productronica.

The powerful team returned to Proplace with refreshed knowledge, new ideas and drive for new challenges. With this, we can offer our customers and their projects even better and more original solutions.

Additional service Proplace can offer to our customers is laser engraving.

Engraving is possible in several different formats, such as: data matrix, QR code, barcode… and also on various different surfaces: PCB, metal, plastic and other materials.

While in production, all our products are marked with a QR code, which ensures product traceability within Proplace. At the customer’s request, we can separately engrave formats or codes which also ensure customer’s own traceability of their products.

Laser marking/engraving is above all a great solution to avoid sticking labels on products.

In June 2023 we organized our first technical day at Proplace – a business-social event for our business partners. The event was mainly attended by our customers from Slovenia and Croatia, some also from Austria and Italy.

Main topics of the technical day were:

• the presentation of our company and business,
• required documentation for the production of electronics,
• technical presentation with tips for the production and the design of PCBs,
• necessary information and advice for the customers who supply the mateiral themselves,
• visit of our production floor and workshop on the topic of material supply.

The technical day was extremely successful and left a positive impression, important experience and exchange of information on our side as well as on our customers’ side. We look forward to organizing more events of that kind in the future.

Another new and very important investment made this year is a purchase of x-ray machine for counting components. It allows faster and more precise counting of SMT components in trays and reels and in some cases it also counts THT components. It can count up to four reels at the same time. As a result, the material in our warehouse is stored faster and ready for next production batch, which ensures smooth and cost-efficient production.

We would like to inform you that an important investment was made in our production after our summer break. We upgraded our SMT lines and increased our SMT production capabilities by about 20% as a result.

We are happy to be able to keep offering our customers fast production services for prototypes and small batches, as we are aware of the importance of fast and efficient manufacturing.

We are happy to inform you that in Proplace we also provide cleaning of assembled PCBs in our production.
